Update on the swan nesting
Last time I looked and saw the swans nesting, on my return the other day I walked past the nest and my heart dropped as I noticed one solitary egg, I though they had deserted the nest
A few yards further along and I saw the swans with cygnets
All seven of them
The parents keeping an eye on them all the time
The cygnets stayed close
Mother and young

Oh these pictures a beautiful. I'm watching a family of Canadian geese here at the pond I walk past. They have 7 babies too.

How lovely and what beautiful photos! The swans at the park where we do parkrun have had six cygnets. I managed to get one photo of them the other day, but it was nowhere near as good as these.
