Last of the afterglow

 Back in October I managed to get some photos of the last of the afterglow from the sun setting, mind you I did intend to see if I could get a photo of the comet they were talking about. I'm not sure if I did or it could be a vapor trail you see in the photo below, either way I did get the last of the sunset

Shepherds Warning

 

Red Sky in the morning Shepherds Warning as they saying goes and guess what I was greeted with one morning the end of September

 

The glow I spotted coming through the shutters on our bedroom window and looking out the back door this is whet greeted me

 

A out the back a stunning red sky 

 

It looked glorious

 

I cannot say the same for the evening

But we did get to enjoy a chocolate cake I made.

Wispy Clouds

 

I notice the clouds when I went out the back of our house around midday back towards the end of June

The moon at Sunset

 

Another two photos again this week which I took on different days in June both were taken at around sunset

 

This one I took out the front of our house looking towards the allotments, the afterglow from the sunset setting off the crescent moon above it was 22:15

A couple of nights later I managed to get out and take this shot of the afterglow at 21:14

End of May Sunset

 

Only a couple of photo's this week of a sunset I captured out the front of our house after noticing the sky from the kitchen window

It looked quite spectacular

 Same again only this time with a google effect on it. The sky did not last that long so I never managed to get any more photos.

More Flowers and Roses

 

I'll start with this collage of a bee on one of out Fox Gloves

 I had been getting worried I had not seen any then this little fellow made free with them

 

I was messing around trying some settings on my camera when I too this one

 

And this one both of which are on our side patio

 

My wife favorite Rosa Californica 

 

And one of my Veilchenblou it really has some prolific flowers

 

I love the violet blue of it

 

It grows over our wood store about six foot over my head

 

The first time the iris flowered since we moved it here

 

Orange rose and foxglove

Welsh Sky

 

We finally managed to get out for an even walk from our Caravan on a nice evening with no rain

The clouds looked spectacular

The blue of the sky contrasted nicely

Some clouds were darker but at leas did not drop rain

When we got to gate leading to the hill I took this photo

On the way back a wide view was in order. Now in the distance you might see something well you will have to wait to see what it is next week

April Sunset

 

 It's normal for me to miss the sunset and see the afterglow, this evening was no different

 

Best place was out of the bathroom window and after taking the photo which uploaded to my laptop and Google photos I found the photo had been enhanced by them

Over the top of the houses a beautiful glow

Easter Sky

 

To finish off Easter photos this week some flowers

 

After getting photos of the Easter egg tree

 

I walked on along the road and noticed the daffodils looked superb

 

They looked great with the cottages in the background
