We have something similar but not nearly so lethal to small cars: speed bumps.

We have them as well and in some cases they are worse

Oh yes you can walk, in fact over to the left is a car park entrance they can go to.
DeleteWe have those on some bus lanes in Cambridge but we call them "rising bollards" which sounds a little more civilised!
ReplyDeleteThis one does not rise it's fixed at a hight your sump will not clear though we have rising bollards as well.
