The Annunciation



I happened to be in Cholsey Church Sunday for a quick look round as part of the Agatha Christie weekend and noticed this screen behind a glass door in the South Transept. It was locked because it was being a construction area for work being done there so you were not supposed to go in but they left the key in the door so who am I not to have a quick look and get a photo.


The screen was part of the choir stalls and I think it is well worth preserving for people to see.

    Beautiful Bill. Thanks for visiting my blog too. As for the swans, I was bitten many years ago by a swan in Germany when I was feeding it some bread. Maybe the babies were arround somewhere...
