Underpass Mural
Thanks for the support in my last post but I never decided to finish this blog but may miss the odd one as I feel the pressure to post has now been lifted. At the moment I'm thinking of kicking off with a new 365 at the beginning of the new year I hope you will continue to follow.
Back to Monday Mural this week. I took this one 11 months ago on Christmas Eve it's of a series of murals along an Underpass going under the Inner Distribution Road in Reading.
I'll post more of it in due course
good to see it - far better then leaving blank walls for mere taggers
ReplyDeleteI noticed a couple on it though, must go back again
DeleteI like that the pictures look "homemade". Nice find!
ReplyDeleteYes they do, proably wht they look apealing
DeleteJolie publication!
ReplyDeleteVery nice post! nice pictures
Thanks & Welcome for your comment and your next visit to my blogs.
Have a nice day! Cath.
No problem, I like your blog and started following, hope you do the same
DeleteNice photo Bill!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much
DeleteSuch friendly colors in the underground. Great !
ReplyDeleteBest regards, Synnöve
Yes they are nice shades which are not too harsh on the eyes
DeleteVery colorful! Looks like many young local artists were able to contribute.
ReplyDeleteI thought that as well
DeleteNice one . Better than the nightly passer by.
ReplyDeleteI fear a few of them have visited the place
DeleteNicely done. Some fine art there.
ReplyDeleteI thought so too
DeleteToo bad that the taggers got in there a bit but hopefully their work can be easily cleaned off.
ReplyDeleteTaggers get everywhere, they are opertunists though I will go back and check it out again
DeleteWhat a great pic of the wall art...It adds color and fun to what could be an otherwise dull walk of monotony.
ReplyDeleteIt woul dbe very monotonus white wall tiles, it cheers the place up
DeleteSome of that art is really good. Nice photo!
ReplyDeleteYes the near one on the right is very good
DeleteI enjoy murals!
ReplyDeleteCheers from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
So do I when I see good ones
DeleteLooks like a compendium from various artists. I especially like the kid break dancer. The white tile goes a long way to brighten what usually is a dark and dingy passageway. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right which is why I will return soon to check it out again
