I'm sorry but this is not the photo I was going to show today, but this evening I had some bad news in that my Friends Mother died last night. The last place she visited was her husbands grave a little to the right of the photo. When I heard this I felt she had gone to say she would be joining him soon. My parents grave and many others she knew are here so she is in good company. I hope her family have the strength to to come through this.
Rest in Peace
The verse is was taken in St Mary the Virgin North Stoke
I think this is a lovely tribute to your friend's mother. I am sure you are right in her going to say goodbye. I firmly believe that many people have a sixth sense about knowing their time is coming to an end.
ReplyDeleteThink your right, the last few weeks have not been good for him, his Mother-in-Law died a couple of weeks ago. Don't think Christmas will be so good this year.
DeleteMay his soul rest in peace!

Thank you it is well kept.
DeleteI'm sorry to hear your bad news. I've often thought death is tougher for us, who are alive.
ReplyDeleteYour right it is always tough on those left
DeleteMy condolences. I love cemeteries, though. Peaceful.
ReplyDeleteMy kids have friends whose 8-yr-old son died the other day. He was 8 and had a brain tumour. Cheers from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
