The Tower
Those of you who visit my other blog spuduka.blogspot may recognise this tower from one of the blogs. It is a place called Tetower and you can read more about it here http://www.castlewales.com/tretwr.html. Though I took a few photos on the occasion I visited the place was not open.

Good morning Bill...
ReplyDeletethis is such a beautiful photo ! It´s a nice combination of landscape, architecture and the sheep´s ... Nice photo !!
Greetings
Thank you for the nice comment, it's quite a photogenic place

ReplyDeleteI agree with Timur - in the end it is the eye and how it frames and composes that makes the diff between a good shot and a fabby one. This one is fabby!! Oh how frustrating not to be able to climb up and through it though... tempted to go back?
YAM xx
Yes I am tempted to go back and there are some more ruined castles not far away.
DeleteNicely done, and a good link!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Gary
DeleteStuff like that mystifies and creeps me out at the same time. Love the shot.
ReplyDeleteI've been to a few creepy places worse than that though i would like a nose round the place
DeleteCreative photo and great composition ~ carol, xo
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment
DeleteAn amazing building - they certainly built to last! The other post about it was very interesting. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteThere are some better examples around though like this one I have not visited them.
DeleteThere may be better examples but this makes for a perfect picture with that wonderful background setting it off.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that.
DeleteVery inviting photo for the place, i wonder how the inside looks like. Do you have snakes? Maybe it houses some of them!
ReplyDeleteSnakes only one I have seen in this country is a grass snake which you might get round there, can't see any adders hanging round the place. I doubt you can climb the tower any more the timbers would have rotted away.
DeleteWhat a wonderful old tower and the lovely sheep. Fabulous !
ReplyDeleteI felt sorry for the sheep as there was lttle shade in one of the fields and they looked unhappy
