We have a few Blackbirds that fly into our garden feeding on the bird food we put out. One of them has become quite tame coming right up to you. All the photos were taken on my iphone
The first two photos were taken by my wife with my phone. This is the female sat on the fence waiting to be fed it comes up quite close
And it loves grapes
Today I set up my iphone on the gorilla pod and sat in the house watching on my watch where I took the following shots remotely. I put a few raisins out hoping the female would come along, she does sit at the door and look in expectingly. After a while her mate came down
I think you have some new pet Black Birds there. What will you name them?
ReplyDeleteNot mine but my wife's and she calls it Mrs Blackbird
DeleteThank you for showing me such a wonderful black bird
ReplyDeleteNo problem
DeleteWonderful photos!! I know a lot of people don't like black birds (Crows?) but I do.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty smart!!
Well done. Now I want a watch that will function that way.
ReplyDeleteGet an Apple Watch
DeleteYou've made a bird friend. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteYes and quite a persistent one
DeleteThey're good company.
ReplyDeleteA bit too good at times
DeleteAn excellent way to get some cracking close-ups of your Blackbirds.
ReplyDeleteYes I must try it again
DeleteLovely! We feed them in the garden, but our little dog loves to chase them (but they keep coming back all the time).
ReplyDeleteSo does mine but he chases pidgins with a vengeance
