Well yes it was Halloween on Sunday evening and I did get a few photos of some of the displays going on around the area.
This macabre decoration was on the steps of the old lock keepers cottage I showed last week on Tuesday and Fridays posts
This set was in the front garden of a house on the edge of the village
Dismembered skeleton on a swing
But this was my favourite which I called death of rats, just a shame they did not thing to put a cloak and scythe on him
This one looked even better with the little skeleton in the shrub

Spooky pumpkin carvings and skeletons and Grim Reaper! The dismembered arms in photo number one gave me chills--appropriate for Halloween!
