Another week of lockdown has passed and over the weekend the Potatoes have grown even more and the runner beans have been planted
The Carrots are still in the greenhouse and look to be growing well
The Tomatoes and cucumbers are really coming on well though a little concerned with the Aubergine though they are starting to grow
Sweet-peas are in the tubs now outside the back door and the roses are now budding well
I was very pleased to see the Agapanthus are starting to flower
I think by tomorrow they will be nearly in flower
I will leave you with this picture of the first rose to come into bloom
It's called Blue For You.
Take Care
Taking Part in Our World Tuesday

ReplyDeleteIt is I must admit
DeleteYou will be self sufficient before long. That blue rose is a very unusual colour.
ReplyDeleteI cannot see us ever getting like that. We have another blue to come out yet
DeleteWow! Your garden is flourishing!

DeleteYou have a lovely garden. The blue rose is very unique and pretty. Take care and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteIt is I can't wait for it to flourish
DeleteGood job with the container garden! Mine is in the ground and a bit farther on, as you'd expect in the hot part of California.
ReplyDeleteNever tried to grow anything this way before
DeleteI think it's so good to be self sustainable with growing your own veges etc, at least you know how they were grown and what's gone into them.
ReplyDeleteI doubt we will ever be self sustainable, the garden is too small it is more for fun
DeleteYou have become a real gardener! Think your wife is very happy!
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is very beautiful!
No I cannot claim that honour, that goes to my wife. I just provide the manpower
