Vew from the Eye



We go back to the year 2000 for these photos which I took when we went on a works outing to the London eye I took a series of photos out of the gondola 

 Looking up the Thames or is it down

The Houses of Parliament

 Looking straight across the Thames

 This was County Hall now the London Aquarium 

 Another of The Houses of Parliament

and a last one the opposit way.

    Oooohh. Wouldn't get me up there, although I admit the views are breathtaking. Unfortunately, for me they'd be breath-stopping. Just looking at your photos of the city below is enough to make my heart palpitate. However, now that I've scrolled down to the comments section and can see only your farmland vista photo, I feel better. And I'm glad I looked, heart palpitations or not, because I am unlikely to get to London again, and definitely unlikely to go up in The Eye.
