On Sunday evening I took this photo of the Supermoon, I used my compact on full zoom to capture it
The first few photos were in focus but the last ones were a Little shaky
Later early in the morning I woke up and looked out the window to see the eclipse
It was not long before it started changing red
Then darker and more red was showing
Until it was all red
Taking Part in Skywatch Friday
Wow! Magnificent photography of the eclipse!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend to you,
artmusedog and carol
Great series of shots to show the eclipse over time. More work for you given your time zone (7:45 PM for me in California)... thanks for making the sacrifice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!!
ReplyDeleteOh wonderful! I knew I'd see some good moon shots today ... I didn't get to see it , for a bunch of boring reasons. Thanks so much for sharing your great views!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!! Well done.
ReplyDeletewell captured Bill - a neighbour with insomnia and a tripod got a good shot but I was well away in the land of nod
ReplyDeleteTerrific shots! We got the eclipse up until the last sliver, when clouds moved in, and a brief glance at the total eclipse.
ReplyDeleteNice! We got only a spotlight on the eclipse when it was full--it was in the clouds before and after that. At least out here we didn't have to stay up until all hours to find out there were clouds!
ReplyDeleteNice work! It was very cloudy here. I got a glimpse of the red moon but didn't try to take pictures.
ReplyDeleteReally nice series Bill, modern cameras can be scary 😎
ReplyDeleteLove seeing these moon shots. Quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't wake up in time to see it. You got some nice shots though!
