Rotherfield Murals

These are a few more murals from Fairmile Hospital I came across on the walls of the old Rotherfield Ward . I was interested in looking at the building because my father had once worked there  though I have to admit I doubt it looked like that when he worked in the place. You can see more in the link. Soon after the photos were taken the place was torn down and new housing now sits on the there.

Made to look like a picture

  Quite a tropical scene

Bit of an Irish theme going on here

 Tropical island and boat

A little bit of sunshine to brighten the day.
Taking Part in Monday Mural

  4. The boat in the cove is an especially tranquil image. Takes away a little of the institutional aura of the place. Glad you captured the interior before it was destroyed. Thank you for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  5. It is sad that it's gone- the tropical mural appeals to me.
