Windmill Sky
While out the other week I spotted this windmill and felt I had to get a photo. I might add it has recently been restored to it's former glory and now is a working windmill which will grind corn.
(PS: I happened to notice the your photo hadn't been posted on my blog, that it came up as needing to be moderated by me. Just so you know, that's because the Sunlit Sunday link you created didn't lead to my specific post, just to the blog itself. I just added the post for you.)

Great shot, I'd love to see one in person.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, tranquil scene!
ReplyDeleteYou do find some beautiful scenes to photograph. This is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Norfolk!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a few of these in Northeast in the last couple of years. It's a good movement, restoring these landmarks. Where did you snap this one?

This one is near a place called Great Haseley, you can just see the church you see in the church in the background
DeleteNeat! You caught some nice light there.
ReplyDeleteThe windmill certainly does look like an imposing yet appropriate structure on the landscape. I like how it takes on a golden glow in the light, Bill.
