Two more from the Underpass

A couple more sections from the Underpass in Reading. The first looks  like it could be from the Victorian era, just a shame some tagger defaced it.
The second looks like it was wartime
There will be a couple more next week. Linking with Monday Mural

  1. This is a nice mural. Yes, it's too bad taggers think they have to deface works of art.

  2. It's too bad about the tags. The murals are very simple. I like the historic aspect of them!

Good sequence; tying it in with the previous, given the migration of background in the depiction, I wonder if the subject is, in fact, 'migration'?? It's a theory anyway... YAM xx

  11. This tile mural is far more extensive than I imagined. It's good to see the details. I wonder if there's a way to clean off the tagging since the tile images are protected through the glazing process. Thanks, Bill, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural. Hope you can find more murals to share with us.
