Wet Day for a Coffee
While walking round Wallingford I could not help stopping and taking a photo of these empty tables at the Old Post Office in the Market Square
Looks like some one was brave enough to venture outside
loving the Wallingford photos as i clearly remember being there in the summer. As you can imagine there was no free tables then so I didn't get a chance to sit there and people watch.
If it were cold and rainy, I expect I would opt for the Costa Coffee but, to be honest, this looks really nice. I'm changing my mind. I've got an umbrella :). (Albeit today - it is quite windy...ha ha!)
Hari Om this is something that really struck me since my return; UK's attempt at the al fresco!!! Sydney, yes. Ipswich or Wallingford, not so much... Great clear shots though; the one with the coffees has a kind of haunting sadness about it. Cups are hot, nobody sitting. YAM xx

Well the place is paced on a fine or sunny day
DeleteA wonderful snapshot on a rainy day. Here it´s cold outside. I think, we get snow today.
ReplyDeleteBest regards, Synnöve
Well it was a couple of weeks ago Synnöve I dare say people are sitting outside today
DeleteSome people, «Louis» among them, will weather any storm for their caffeine fix!
ReplyDelete:-)
Yes I'm a bit like that though I draw the line sitting outside in the rain
DeleteIt looks like someone braved the wet weather to have coffee outside.
ReplyDeleteI thought that or went as it started
DeleteMight not be too bad if you had a big umbrella and a towel to dry the chair.
ReplyDeleteWell I think they put them out in the summer so why not winter
DeleteLooks like a pleasant place to have a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteIt is when it's sunny
