All That Remains

Following on with showing the odd photo from Fairmile where I been recording the redevelopment today I will show you the remains of where the Kitchen used to be.
The place was built sometime in the 1960's so as an addition was on the cards to be removed.

This little pile of rubble is all that is left of what used to be here, if you would like to read more the click on the link

  2. I know the feeling. My old childhood house was demolished many years ago and now has a high rise apartment building in it's place.

  3. It looked very temporary in the first place. So out of place with the other buildings. I hope the other structures are sturdy that they won't want to demolish them.

  4. We need progress. They' decided to take down an old farm house here. It's a mess and would cost $800,000 to repair. Good move, methinks.
Cheers from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!

  5. I'm glad that much of the building remains, although I find it sad when buildings (or parts of them) are demolished.
