Some Murals
No macros this week as the one I thought of showing was from work and you would be wondering what it was so I thought I'd show some Murals from Glastonbury
Most people would call it graffiti but now it is take more like art though someone has been putting a tag around the place now
This one is in a building in a park
This is the one I like for some reason though it has been replaced by something else now which I will take next time I am there.
Taking part in Mural Monday
Have a great week
Hi Bill...
ReplyDeletei don´t like this at the walls !! But i think these are very good artists !
Greetings
Most tags you see do look messy and ruin walls but these do make a pleasant change
DeleteYes you have really some artists there.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of good artists over here, I need to take some more photos of them
DeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteI actually really like these kind of graffiti murals, Bill and am inclined to call these particular ones art. They are all good! The tagging graffiti that goes on with nothing but defacing in mind I certainly do not like. YAM xx
There is a tag at the end of the mural on the part between the garage and wall, its a skeleton, seen it on a few walls round the area
DeleteIt would be easy to miss the car park. I like the first one, bright and cheery.
ReplyDeleteYou would end up going into a pedestrian area if you did.
DeleteWonderful paintings and so colorful. Great !
ReplyDeleteThats Glastonbury for you very colorful
DeleteI love murals. Gang sign graffiti not so much but when someone takes the time to make a truly spectacular picture I applaud them.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of tags here but when you see stuff like that you tend to stop and look
DeleteThese are all great! Good finds.
ReplyDeleteGot a few more from the place to come yet
DeleteOMG I dig the goofy eyes and teeth! Looks like I suckered you into Mural Monday. Funny the places you'll suddenly see them. (Like the post office, right?)
ReplyDeleteLove the PO. The last mural has changed and I took a photo of Sunday which I will so next Monday
DeleteThese are amazing. I've taken a few photos of murals. It doesn't keep kids off the streets, but it is a talent!
ReplyDeleteCheers from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
Some a really good to look at others make you cringe, the kids that tag are the ones who need taking off the street
DeleteWelcome, Bill. I didn't expect to see a Day of the Dead skull in England. A cheerful reminder of our common destiny. The last mural is a hoot. Wish I could read the signature. These a pretty cool finds. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks I will post more. The photo was taken in Glastonbury where there are a lot of odd (for want of a better word) people around because they believe the area is full of mystic powers. The town is worth a visit if you go to England. I love going there. The siggy is in the bottom right of the last photo
DeleteInteresting...good shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you Brigitta
