Morning and Evening


These were taken from the back door of my house. The skytrail heads towards the Bristol Channel and is the flightpath from LHR

At dusk the trails turn pink. I used to watch Concorde fly over on this path every evening at the same time

    What memories you have stirred, Bill. How I remember watching Concorde fly over each evening always about tea time. It is my one regret that I never flew on Concorde. I love flying and it was always a dream that one day I would have enough money to take a flight on that iconic plane. Never thinking that when I could afford it the plane would no longer be around.

      I did, I was on the first charter of the Concorde which really got the Concorde club ticking as they thought they should be first but they did not have a pilot who went to the local like us.

    Nice contrail pictures! We live near the flight path for planes going from Dulles Airport to points west so we see some great contrails.
