The Blade
The Blade is an office block which dominates the town of Reading, the name comes from the sharp end of the building.
The photos were taken from the carpark at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and as you can see below the building is taller than the surrounding town

ReplyDeleteHAH - was thinking as I saw the first one that I was reminded of cathedrals, then saw the smaller second one with the church spire in front and - yup - it is definitely cathedral-like! Love that second one BTW. YAM xx
I always thought it more boat like, glad you liked the panoramic shot
DeleteCool shots!

DeleteAn amazing building with a very special form. Great photos !
ReplyDeleteBest regards, Synnöve
It is very different and blade like at the end
DeleteInteresting finish better than the average steel and glass monstrosity - PS couldn't get the texter's number, my bus set off first.
ReplyDeleteIt's unusual for being away from London and quite pleasing to look at. I thought the bus might have set off first.
DeleteCool shot , love the first construction!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment
