Ride a Cock Horse

This is an old English Nursery Rhyme
Ride a cock-horse to Banbury Cross,
To see a fine lady upon a white horse;
Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes,
And she shall have music wherever she goes

 Bells on her toes
Taken in Banbury a few years ago.
Have a great Monday

  2. I know the rhyme but didn't know there was a statue in Banbury, it's lovely. I enjoy learning little titbits, thanks.

  3. Like Maggie, I remember the rhyme but silly me I didn't even realise that Banbury was a real place.

    I do now :)
