Taken a few weeks ago now when my wife & I went for a visit to the Elan Valley in Wales. we stopped off at one point and I quickly took a couple of photos near Point Elan

Ivans Sunflower

Last year a guy I worked with who we all knew as Ivan (His real name was William) passed away after a log fight with an illness he had. At his funeral we were all encouraged to take some Sunflower Seeds and plant them in his Memory. I took a few packets and out of the first packet a couple survived to grow into what you see. Now every time I see a sunflower I will remember Ivan

There is a tree near our garden where you often see birds sat on the top like this little fellow

But you normally see this one

Who get a bit bored at times

& fly's off to see his friends

but then comes back to the tree

an lands again

has a shake

surveys his domain

Bee and the Foxglove

A couple of weeks ago I was say on our patio with my camera and telephoto lens and too this series of photos of a Bee collecting pollen from a Foxglove

 Time to go

 Get clear of the flowers

 Off we go
