Out of the Ground

An excavator drags itself out of a hole it has been digging for the last few weeks

The area started out looking like this a few weeks ago

Now a large area has been excavated out for a new experimental area at Diamond Light Source

Llywelyn mural

This is one Mural I had to go back to get new photos of, it's called the Llywelyn muraland is in Builth Wells. You are gretted by it as you drive into the town.  Llywelyn the Last who was killed locally in December 1282 by the English under Edward I in a village a few miles away.

Quite impressive don't you think The rest of the photos below are parts of the mural

The top left is a Carn which is beside the road near where he was killed in Cilmery

Hughenden Manor

After all the nice responses I had about my Sunday Photo I think I had better show you where it was taken. The desk was in a room in Hughenden Manor

Which was owned by Benjamin Disraeli

The front of the manor which is now owned by the National Trust

No doubt this was one of his favourite views from the viewing room on the second floor

I dare say this was another view he liked as well.  Not a bad place to visit but go in the week when I think it could be a little less busy
