A View of Cholsey
I was asked to take a few photos of Cholsey for the new Village Hall though the village is in the Thames Valley it is not easy to get one looking down on it. This is about the only place you can along the road to Reading.
It's called the Springs and is attached to the Springs Hotel whichwas once the residence of Ian Gillan of Deep Purple fame. It has a gutar shaped swimming pool and my wife and I spent the first night of our honeymoon at the hotel.
Is it green there year round? I read once upon a time before the Spanish padres threw out their grass seeds, our California hills were green throughout the year. I wonder if it's possible to reclaim the green hills with native grasses.
