The Last from the Underpass

These are the last of the photos I have taken from the underpass in Reading. These are also the last proper Murals I have. All I have to offer now is some Graffiti, painted wall signs and what we in the UK call ghost signs.
The first one you see here has at least been spared the destruction of tagging

The second here looks like it is depicting more moder children than the previous ones I have shown.
Taking Part in Monday Mural

  1. This has been one long mural but it was worth it with your weekly postings. I have a suggestion for you. Take your ghost signs and post them on Wednesdays at Lesley's Signs, Signs.

  2. It's such a charming mural, the graffiti busters need to get out there with some soap and water and paint remover and clean it up.

    1. My feeling is that the artistes who painted it were quite young.

  9. You have got me paying more attention to the few under passes we have here in Coventry. Nothing nearly as nice as this artwork to be found here in Coventry. Well, not yet :).

    1. Well I hope you find some I'd hate to think Reading was the only place that had them

  10. I had to go back and see the rest of this mural. I think it would be interesting to have a new, fresh one painted in its place. But, that would be a lot of work.

  11. Sorry to see the last of these tile murals. Maybe you'll run across murals in neighboring towns or inside pubs or restaurants. Happy hunting. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
