New Years Day

After the wonderful sunny day we had on Christmas Day it was a complete reverse on New Years Day with wind and rain.

Station road and this area gets flooded in heavy rain, the puddle is starting to form
Looking up at the dark skys overhead
 Ominous dark clouds
 Which blow past quickly
Mind you it does not stop some hardy lad scooting through in the rain.

  1. Sounds like the contrast between Christmas and New Year's Day in my peninsula world. But these are delightful street views of Mother Nature in rainy mode.

    1. But you had snow, don't that count. I could do without the amount we are getting at the moment.

  14. There's a lot of rain and wind here in Norway too, but not as much as you've got these last days. Now I wish for snow on the fields and ice on the water. There's a "skating itch" in my legs... I wish you all well in the new year, and I'm looking forward to all of your 2014 pictures!

    1. Oh wow made it over there did we. It looks worse than it is as the serious stuff only affects a few places, most of us are unaffected.
