Market Day


Market day in Wallingford, nearly Christmas and lots of trees waiting to be bought


Just along the road outside the Jewelers is a find Christmas display 
Taking part in our world Tuesday

  1. We have our tree already. It's the biggest one we've had in a number of years. :)
    Do you use real candles in England or just electric lights?

    1. Mine is still out in the yard, hopefully I'll bring it in the weekend. I don't think I have ever hear of any one useing real candles, even as a kid we had electric lights, mine are LED now

    Oh I agree, the purple bows are very striking!! I grew up always raising the tree and decorations on first Sunday in Advent. I do know some traditions have it being raised on C/Eve - but that is way too much work at a time when one ought to be going to bed early and waiting for Santa....... &*> YAMxx

    1. You know I never knew there were ant tradition about trees though we usualy have our up by now but have been decorating so it slipped a bit.

  5. Love the Christmas decor at the jewler's. It's nice to see the purple colors mixed in with the greens.

    1. IT is though small but the Wallingford is a small town. I seem to remember it being bigger when I was young
