Beautiful old building ..we loved English pubs. Not sure what a preaching cross was...need to google that,
Just that, a visiting holy person would preach a sermon from that spot usually near the church or village green
Very cool! How old do you suppose the remains of the preaching cross are?
They tend to me medieval or as far back as the Saxon times
