Barrel Head

Last of my murals from Glastonbury and one I came across  on my last day at the town, It's along an ally which runs past the church which is why I could only take the photo from this angle. Beats me the meaning.

 Taking part in Mural Monday

    1. There is, I hate it when you get numpties placeing their tags over them as if they have a right to and defaceing some one elses art

  3. Funny picture! And there is so many details in it, I wonder if there is a message. Save the bies, or save the honey, or the quite opposite...It's hard to know, but great to watch!

This is a top mural Bill. May I share an insight? There is an old sanskrit story about the fool who would not listen to his elder (guru) about the correct way to chop out the flaws in his character. If you are going to improve yourself you have to work from the bottom up. Trying to fastrack by chopping off the "lighter branches" (such as giving up a favourite food) is mere tokenism. Healthy yes, but really not a major shift in spiritual progression. If we keep doing this, it is as if we were sitting on the branches ourselves and we always end up back where we started - at the beginning... or the bottom of the tree in this case!

That's the abridged version, but it may help. Interesting you found it close to the church! YAM xx
